MYNET

Since 2013

We built the network rural Ireland was waiting for

MYNET is an Irish internet provider based in Cashel, County Tipperary. We design, build and run our own wireless and fibre networks, which is exactly why we can reach the places other providers will not.

Our story

How MYNET started

Back in 2013 we got fed up with the lack of quality, reliable broadband at a reasonable price in rural Ireland. We felt we could do a better job and give rural communities the service they needed and deserved, so we got to work.

MYNET Ireland was born in mid-2013, and we quickly learned that people genuinely valued a provider that put customer service first. We have grown steadily ever since, and we are now one of Ireland’s fastest-growing broadband providers.

We do serve customers in cities and towns, but our focus has always been rural broadband: the areas forgotten by other companies and by the government. We use both fibre and the most advanced wireless technology available to build our own networks, connecting thousands of homes and businesses across Tipperary, Kilkenny, Limerick, Laois, Waterford, Cork, Offaly and Galway.

Alongside broadband, MYNET now provides specialist IT and networking services to customers right around Ireland. The plan from here is simple: keep extending the network, and keep answering the phone.

Milestones

Twelve years of building

  1. 2013

    MYNET is founded

Frustrated by the lack of reliable, fairly priced broadband in rural Ireland, we set out to do the job properly ourselves.

  2. 2015

    The network spreads

Word of mouth carried us out of Tipperary and into the neighbouring counties, one mast and one community at a time.

  3. 2019

    Services beyond broadband

Customers kept asking us to look after their IT and networking too, so we built teams to do it.

  4. Today

    Eight counties and growing

We connect thousands of homes and businesses, and we are still extending the network into areas everyone else skipped.
